Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Taylor County, Wisconsin. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates You will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
