We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Custer County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Full-time with occasional weekends.
