Site safety steward wanted in East Ayrshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in East Ayrshire, Scotland. You will work at an oil and gas facility. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height 3+ years on the tools preferred.
