Lifting rigger wanted in Chisago County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Chisago County, Minnesota. You will be based at a shipyard. Day to day you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
