Heavy equipment operator wanted in Kossuth County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Kossuth County, Iowa. You will work at a landfill site. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery You will read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; check for underground cables and services before digging; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
