Vacancy available: foundry worker (Missouri)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Bollinger County, Missouri. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience.
