Turning centre operator wanted in City of Harrisonburg

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. The role involves: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Write and edit G-code programs at the control Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Rotating shifts.
