You should have: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Day-to-day duties: • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools Rotating shifts.
