Insulation worker • Allamakee County, Iowa

Great opportunity: we are hiring an insulation worker in Allamakee County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
