Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Newton County, Indiana. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line You will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
