Structural MIG welder wanted in Menominee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Menominee County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
