Urgent requirement: gas commissioning technician (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in La Salle County, Texas. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
