Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day to day you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing.
