Join our team: body shop technician (Connecticut)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a body shop technician in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is at an accident repair garage. The role involves MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains. You should have: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes We offer $32 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
