Pipe TIG welder — Piscataquis County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Piscataquis County, Maine. Day to day you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
