Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Mason County, Illinois. You will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
