Escalator technician — Essex County

Join our team: we are hiring an escalator technician in Essex County, Massachusetts. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On the job you will handle: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 1+ years on the tools preferred.
