Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar installer in Heard County, Georgia. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Day to day you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length.
