Urgent requirement: steel fixer (California)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Shasta County, California. The job is on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Day to day you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions.
