Urgent requirement: we are hiring an electrician in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a busy electrical contractor. The role involves check earth continuity and earth pit resistance; isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working; crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands; run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable; dress and terminate wiring inside control panels. What we are looking for: • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
