Quality assurance assistant — City of Salem

Join our team: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in City of Salem, Virginia. You will be based at a pharmaceutical packaging facility. The role involves raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts.
