Shuttering carpenter • Glynn County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Glynn County, Georgia. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Day-to-day duties: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Full-time, day shift.
