Lifting rigger wanted in Rockland County

Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Rockland County, New York. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
