Vertical transportation technician — Nye County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Nye County, Nevada. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
