Precision welder — Van Buren County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Van Buren County, Arkansas. You will work on an industrial construction site. The role involves: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height We offer $220 per day plus benefits.
