Panel welder wanted in Armstrong County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 2+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
