Immediate opening: metal roofing fitter (Arkansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Faulkner County, Arkansas. You will be based at a sheet metal roofing workshop. The role involves: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
