Join our team: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Sabine County, Texas. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Part-time with flexible hours.
