The role involves: • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls Requirements: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately 5+ years on the tools preferred.
