Cold store insulation technician • Amherst County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Amherst County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness Ideal candidate: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding 5+ years on the tools preferred.
