Now hiring: we are hiring a horticulturist in Jim Wells County, Texas. You will work on a golf course. You will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience.
