You should have: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Day to day you will work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes.
