Offshore rigger — Mineral County

Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Mineral County, West Virginia. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
