Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Walton County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters.
