Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in North Northamptonshire, England. The role involves replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
