Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot You will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
