Milling machinist — Isabella County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Isabella County, Michigan. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. On a typical shift you will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits.
