Lift mechanic wanted in Shetland Islands

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Shetland Islands, Scotland. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics The role involves install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer £2,750 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
