Immediate opening: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Garum Mallam, Kano State. You will be based on a construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Day-to-day duties: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
