Day to day you will make connections to the mains water and sewer lines; connect overhead and underground water tanks; detect and fix leaks at joints and concealed pipework; install wash basins, sinks, WCs and flush cisterns; trace and clear blockages in drains, traps and gully pits; lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall. Ideal candidate: • Able to read basic plumbing drawings and layouts • Willing to attend emergency call-outs Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
