Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundworker in Humboldt County, Nevada. You will be based on a commercial building project. Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it The role involves stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations.
