Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Meals and transport allowance provided.
