Join our team: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Stephenson County, Illinois. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site. You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
