Escalator technician • Nemaha County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Nemaha County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work The role involves replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; run load and overload tests with test weights; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
