Press shop operator — Decatur County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Decatur County, Iowa. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses 1+ years on the tools preferred.
