We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Trego County, Kansas. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling On a typical shift you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings.
