Urgent requirement: HVAC-R technician (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Peoria County, Illinois. The job is on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Your main tasks: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
