Structural MIG welder • Stearns County, Minnesota

Join our team: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Stearns County, Minnesota. You will be based on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
