Aluminium workshop fabricator • Schuyler County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium workshop fabricator in Schuyler County, Illinois. You will be based in a fabrication and glazing factory. Day-to-day duties: • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames • Fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
