HSE officer — City of Manassas

Now hiring: we are hiring a HSE officer in City of Manassas, Virginia. You will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
